Our People
Principal Coach and founder Alan Greig is a BA in economics
from the University of New England with post graduate qualifications
in coaching, financial planning and company directorship.
A former Squadron Leader with the Royal Australian Air Force,
and Returned from Active Service, Alan’s commercial
experience includes 11 years as Chief Executive of a significant
Queensland financial institution.
In 1992 Alan authored “Your Life Planning Workbook”,
a self paced workbook advocating retirement planning related
to lifestyle issues. This book was the genesis of the firm’s
work in retirement planning. This book is now available as an 'e' book.
Alan is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF)
and ICF(Australasia). He is the convenor of the ICF Special
Interest Group for Third Age Coaching and The American Society of Aging and the National Council on Aging in USA, the International Coach Federation Australasia and to financial planner organisations as well as to Coachmecca in New Zealand. He
is acknowledged as a leader in Third Age (retirement) coaching
and planning in Australia.
Arising from her interest in Third Age transitional issues
Consultant Psychologist, Jenne Turner, joined Alan as a partner
in 2003. Jenne’s qualifications include B.Bus (HRM);
BA (Psych); Grad.Dip.Psych and (MA) Human Resources.
Jenne is a member of the international Coach Federation(ICF)
and ICF (Australasia). She has worked as a Consultant Psychologist
for more than a decade in Human Resources, Teams, individual and
Practice Development and has 20 years in Medical Practice
Management; plus four years as a crisis counsellor.
Jenne is a ‘baby boomer’ and is planning for
retirement – sometime. As a professional psychologist
Jenne adds considerable depth to the skills offered by 3AO and offers professional training to coach and
conduct counselling sessions.
